I'm a nerd, I want every detail
Viognier, made famous by the Condrieu appellation in the Rhône Valley, is a grape easily recognized by its distinctive fruity character. Yet this one is entirely different: the vines grow higher up in the mountains, closer to the glacial light of the stars. Trépaloud’s Viognier is a wine that defies easy definition. In the end, you simply give in to its pure freshness and elegance.

Rémi Vandôme
Rémi is a calm and intensely focused person, but he does not like to talk about himself. He'd rather promote the artists who design his labels and the musicians who come to the domaine for concerts open to the public during summer evenings. Yet, when he talks about the domaine that he purchased with his brother over 20 years ago, his deep love for this corner of garrigue near Saint Clément is inspiring. The soils are a combination of red clay and limestone gravel which drain well - a perfect foundation to produce high quality wines. He converted the entire domaine to organic agriculture 15 years ago in pursuit of purity and elegance. His quests is bearing beautiful fruits, he seems to have found a peace of mind in the calm and magnificient environment that he has preserved and developed.
