Tasting this wine is like listening to Muse's version of Feeling Good. Three grapes, three different vibes: smooth jazz, an alt-rock guitar, and that orchestral dimension that became the band's signature. Now that's a good blend.
I'm a nerd, I want every detail
Argentina made Malbec world famous through both single-varietal cuvées and bold blends. In this particular case, Mevi used a mouth-watering combination of Malbec (40%), Cabernet Sauvignon (40%), and Syrah (20%). Together they bring fruit, structure, and punch — producing a wine of intense violet colour, with notes of red berries, fig, and coffee. We loved discovering it, layer after layer.
The craft

Cold maceration.

Grapes are destemmed and crushed after maceration.

25-day fermentation in steel vats.

18-month aging in first-use oak barrels.

Luis Martínez
Luis, a native of Mendoza, Argentina, discovered his passion for winemaking while studying enology in his hometown. His career began in Mendoza but quickly expanded into an impressive global journey through some of the world's most renowned wine regions. His experience includes working at La Crema in California, Dominio del Plata Winery under the legendary Susana Balbo, Chateau Lapalu and Liversan in France, Cantina Massanera in Tuscany, Haraszthy Winery in Etyek, Hungary, and advising projects back in Mendoza.
Luis is now channeling his expertise into developing wineries in Bolivia, bringing fresh opportunities to this emerging wine region. Keep an eye out—you might soon be toasting with a Bolivian wine, made possible thanks to MVA!
