How we choose our collections
Every three months, we return to maison vernhes for a week of blind tastings.
We pour more than 50 pre-selected wines without labels or reputations. Only what's in the glass matters.
Only the bottles that earn unanimous approval move forward.

How membership works
Choose your allocation horizon
Commit to two, four or six collections of six wines. Receive one collection every two months. Pay per shipment, starting with your first collection.
The experience begins
Each collection features six rare wines, bottled at the estates, and found nowhere else. They all carry our word. If a wine ever misses the mark, consider it a conversation — not a transaction.
Deepen your appreciation
Wines you loved can be reordered at a 10% discount — though once they're gone, they're gone for good. We source exclusively in small batches, so it's worth acting sooner rather than later.
On your terms, always
Renew your membership to keep discovering. And if you ever find a wine you think belongs in a future collection, you may be invited to join us in Tuscany to help curate it.

Meet our founder
mva founder Laurent Vernhes has spent his career finding what others rarely have time to seek. In 2000, he co-founded Tablet Hotels, building it into the world's most respected curated selection of independent hotels — before Michelin acquired it in 2018 to power the official hotel recommendations of the MICHELIN Guide.
Raised as the grandson of a winemaker from Southwest France, Laurent brings that same curatorial instinct to wine. mva and maison vernhes are his way of doing for artisanal producers what he did for independent hotels: shining a light on the exceptional, the undersung, the hard-to-find, and getting them to wine lovers.
