With Moinante, the Mainova estate has struck a remarkable balance between acidity, lightness, and intensity — a white whose body quietly defies the promise of its colour, with exceptional length and weight that linger well beyond the first sip. We love the contrast between the ripe, exuberant nose and the restrained fruit on the palate.
The Craft
- Hand-harvested at optimal ripeness.
- Whole berries.
- Second pressing after a 6-day maceration.
- Indigenous fermentation.
- Aged in stainless steel.
- 12.5% ABV.
- Lifespan: 5 to 7 years.

Ask the MVA team for their aperitif of choice, and the answer is always Moinante — rich, full-bodied, and refreshingly crisp. It proves equally versatile at the table, bringing a welcome lift to roasted pork, cheese, and desserts alike.
Sandra Sarriá
Sandra Sárria is one of the most compelling figures in Portuguese wine, known above all for her work as a partner and driving force behind several wineries in the Alentejo region.
Alongside winemaker António Maçanita, she has played a significant role in shaping the region's reputation — with a particular focus on wines of striking quality, including white wines that have drawn considerable critical acclaim.
