I'm a nerd, I want every detail
This wine is 100% Melon de Bourgogne. The grapes grow on more than 50-year-old vines, on a soil with veins of granite and gneiss. This combination produces some of the driest white wines on the planet: it's all about zest and minerality, with distinct notes of lemon. Château Thébaud has a bright, striking acidity that makes it pair extremely well with shellfish. Yes, it's white and bright, but believe us, it really benefits from being opened at least two hours in advance. And most importantly, serve it as cold as you can.

Sébastien Branger
Sébastien Branger is the 4th generation of the Branger family to cultivate this land. Over the years, the family has acquired a reputation for making some of the appellation's best wine. The estate covers 30 hectares of vineyards, around 20 km south-east of Nantes, divided into several plots, which sit on the piece of land that lies between the waters of the Sèvre and the Maine rivers.
Sébastien manages the vines with environmentally friendly principles. hand-harvesting, no chemical fertilizers and with yield control - classified organic. The domaine is dedicated to creating single vineyard Muscadet wines enabling the expression of each individual site in every bottle.
